Panel Discussion: Disaster Risk, Response, and Recovery in the Wasatch Front This interdisciplinary panel will explore various dimensions of disaster risk faced by the Wasatch-front communities. Experts from urban planning, economic development, public health, environmental science, engineering, and emergency management will discuss the nature of hazards faced by the region, the challenges of effective disaster response and recovery, as well as existing effort to prepare and mitigate against disasters.
