Description:

The SEAU Wind and Seismic Committee will review the ASCE 7-16 MWFRS methods presented in chapters 26 through 28. They will also review code provisions and background on when to use C&C or MWFRS loads on various building elements and appurtenances. There will also be a quick review of seismic code level ground motions vs. potential ground motions along the Wasatch Front and an update on a grant we are pursuing to study the impact higher ground motions would have on existing/new construction.
