Kelly Calder, Chairperson Members: Barry Welliver, Chuck Richardson, Craig Cartwright. Duties - Understand current laws, rules and practices for licensure of professional and structural engineers as mandated by the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL).
- Make recommendations for improvement to current laws, rules and practices.

Improve the public awareness of the purpose for professional and structural licensing.
2003-2004 Goals - Enhance public awareness of the SE license.
- To promote the awareness of SE license by institutions and governmental agencies.

Prepare a white paper document on the SE license. The paper shall highlight the underlying reasons for the establishment and the promotion of the SE license. The paper shall develop and summarize the advantages of the SE license relative to the fundamental goal of safeguarding the public health, safety, and general welfare.
